A Beautiful Place

Prayer is an end to isolation. It is living our daily life with someone. With Him who alone can deliver us from solitude. For He is the only One we can find in our own heart, the only One to whom we can tell everything that is in us. He is ever present. Intimately. Prayer makes us aware of His presence, which we might not realize if we did not pay attention. -Georges Lefebvre

A Simple Prayer

In Ephesians, flowers, Friendship, Prayer on July 11, 2010 at 1:15 am

Hosta Flower

Today, I prayed that you would see the beauty of truth in your life. I asked that your eyes be shown purity and your heart fill with delight with the wonders all around you. Dear friend of mine, you are a treasure in this world. Those who walk by you each day have no idea how wonderful you are, how much you have to offer them. I ask now that you will feel the surety of faith in your soul, the understanding that you make a difference and that even the tiniest of a touch from you, in the life of another, would allow you to feel appreciated. Feel appreciated.

You are special, unique and even in the times that you feel so unworthy of love…you are loved, beyond your ability to comprehend. You, are loved.

May you find that God is right there with you, each time you speak out to Him, each time that you have a drifting thought of prayer or question. Today, I prayed for you.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. -Ephesians 1:17

Eternally, He Listens

In Mahatma Gandhi, Prayer, Romans, Simply Joyful Photos Blog Imported on July 25, 2009 at 10:00 pm
Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul.
It is daily admission of one’s weakness.
It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.

Mahatma Gandhi quotes

Pray

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Nourishment of Life

In 2 Thessalonians, Prayer, Simply Joyful Photos Blog Imported on July 3, 2009 at 1:28 pm

Because we know that this extraordinary day is just ahead, we pray for YOU all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s called you to be, pray that He’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with His own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the Name of Jesus, He will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this…
