On This Day, Twelve Years Ago….

In My Man and I, My Memories, My Photos on July 26, 2009 at 12:04 pm

We just watched our Wedding & Reception Video this morning, with the boys. Priceless was the look on my oldest son’s face as he watched it. I want to capture it on my camera (video) so that I am able to upload it onto my computer. You know, there will most likely be a day that we won’t be able to view it on VHS and we definitely want to keep that day in history alive πŸ™‚

Looking back through the years, Ray and I haven’t really changed a lot in our relationship with one another. Neither of us went into our marriage with Rose Colored Glasses, our friendship remains, our tolerance has grown and the love that binds us together will not be removed because our marriage is held together by the strength of Three-In-One Unity :).

This coming week, Ray is on vacation. We have a week of demolition in store for us, so I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to sit and write…but don’t you think I won’t be peeking in every day and offering a tad bit here and there. What are we demolishing, you wonder? Well…it’s time to break down the walls and put in the wood stove (the one we haven’t found yet).

I will, however, share with you the plans…the thoughts…the story of this day…on another day. Today, I shall focus my attention on my husband and family :).

  1. Oh Heather, such cute pictures!!! I especially love the one with the fathers and the dogs. Priceless. I had to chuckle when I saw the picture of you two sitting at the table and sitting in front of you is a can that says "simply" on it. How perfect is that? The little picnic cake is so cute!Blessings to you and your family. πŸ™‚

  2. Happy Anniversary! Nice pictures! God bless you and your beautiful family.

  3. Happy Anniversary! I hope you area having a wonderful day.

  4. Heather! Happy Anniversary yesterday! Sorry I missed it…I was tied up for most of the weekend. You have a wasy to go to catch up with me…37 years! Longer than you have been alive! Wow …now that is depressing! Great pictures and I always like it when bloggers share their lives…I guess I shold also! Hope your "demolition" goes well this week…have some great time off!Dan
